The forums last between one and two hours. Because the groups are always fewer than twelve people, everyone is able to contribute to the conversation. Participants are encouraged to ask as many questions as they would like, and it is also common for the speaker to ask the young adults their opinions, ideas, and observations.

Symposiums will meet in a number of different locations. Oftentimes the founder of PNS hosts the group at her house, or participants will meet at a cafe in the city-center. Depending on availability–and Covid-19 protocols–the the group may have the opportunity to see the speaker's workplace and hold the symposium in the office.
